About the Journal

Founded in 1989, the Fordham Environmental Law Review (the “ELR“) is a dynamic and interdisciplinary publication that explores domestic and international environmental issues ranging from air and water regulation to environmental justice and social policy issues.

Since its inception, the ELR has provided a forum for scholars and practitioners to reflect on topics and developments important to the study and practice of environmental law.

The ELR publishes three issues annually, a Fall and Spring issue and one centered around the annual Symposium. The ELR‘s staff members also write two blog posts for the website per semester.
